Single Rooms At Ut Austin Dorm

Anybody? Bah, there's me!

Hello world!

Yes, it's been a while since I gave you more news (well, not specifically here)! I was rather taken by the work and, I confess, I was taking a bit lazy too! What's new? Well first of all, the decor! If you did not notice the decor of the blog has changed! I like it, it's less noisy, more like soft colors, closer to the earth tones and woods that I love! ( My astrological sign is perhaps something, who knows? Capricorn that I am! ) And the small band of broderie anglaise at the header, to feminize a little place! ^ _ ^

Other than that, on needles I have 2 projects still in progress (not counting the others who are sleeping!): I and my Shrug Saroyan Autumn .

The Shrug stalled a bit, because I discouraged by the length of its current ranks, I'm almost at the limit between the late increases in the first round and the band right back and the mesh endless!

Saroyan him up quietly, one sheet at a time! A chance that it is within a KAL that I do because I would not have had the courage to start it all alone! Dreiss thank you for having initiated this idea and for your support! ^ _ ^ See the other participants also motivate me to continue!

Last week, I was quite busy! I worked 8 days in a row (something I would not normally)! It was a bit forced by cons, since I had an event (the LanEtsVip ... for all those who were volunteers Lanett last March!) of planned for Saturday, November 20!

In standard time, I would have worked, but I traded with my colleague that she leave Monday, November 15 and I have hers that fell Saturday! So if we sum up, it gives 2 days off, 8 days on, 2 days off, yesterday I worked, and I still have 2 days off!

It allowed me to knit when even a little (I can not make Internet browsing at work ... I swear it's a nuisance!), But they say nothing when I knit so I'm a bit spoiled! ^ ^ Of course, since I am disturbed at any time by calling (# VisMaVieDeSoutienTechniquePourUneCompagniedInternet .... oops, Twitterienne habit), I can not undertake projects complicated or that requires undivided attention!

It still allowed me to improvise a little something that will end up in the Christmas tree in my apartment! ^ _ ^ It would have taken me three days of consecutive work (always between-cut of "My Internet not work! " and "I can not send email with Outlook! ") for complete but I did! Moreover, the result:

In LanEtsVip, not gamer for 2 cents, I took advantage to make me a sheet of Saroyan (and yes, a single leaf in a day! Y'avait But is that a lot of things to do and I had my friends as I had not seen since September, so I took advantage of a bit!) and it also allowed me to redo the decoration of the blog! Hehe!

Sunday, the day was filled pretty well! In the morning, I accompanied my boyfriend, my stepmother and my sister-in Boucherville, visit my other sister-in at his place of work: a store specializing in the decoration of kitchens and bathrooms! My stepmother wanted to redecorate her kitchen, she went on site to see the different ideas and opportunities open to it.

Boucherville not too far from St-Bruno, and my stepmother is an avowed crocheter, I took him home then Rusk so she can see her shop I'm talking a long time! On site, in addition to Louise ( Rusk itself!) I saw Sylvie (Mordue ) that I had not seen since the last time being several months in Saute-Mouton ! A short visit, too short, which allowed me to get (finally) a skein of Watermelon, which I dream since the first day I saw this photo in wool! And Louise was super nice, she has transformed my skein into a ball of wool while I spent at the checkout! Thank you!

After that, back home and, when they had been reached, there was still one hour before closing stores so my boyfriend and I were in the opportunity to go buy Christmas lights to decorate the outside! In short, I had a week AND a really busy weekend! Today, I took it relaxed, very relaxed even! And I took the opportunity to come and tell you all that drinking a cup of hot chocolate!

You'll forgive me the rather poor quality of my pictures today are made in an environment with limited lighting, from my iPod! Promised, they will be best next time!

Can People Tell If Your Wearing A Diaper

Your Suggestions?

Looking KnitPicks catalog received few weeks, I became acquainted with their new collection of wool: City Tweed DK Yarn. I immediately fell in love with the color Lemon Curd , and I noticed that the link to below 3 colors could be a wonderful project! I love the warm and autumnal hues of these 4 put together! Parcontre, I do not know yet how the project could easily include all 4. Any suggestions? I'm all ears! I await your ideas! This could be the next outstanding! ^ _ ^

Can You Freeze Potato Chips

Autumn is coming! South Shore

I'm still alive! Yes, I neglected this blog during the summer ... I have not really knitted (not to say at all, actually) and have really nothing to tell, I left out this place ... But the cold winter season, and especially that of the preceding autumn (from September 23) gives me the urge to knit! It's like the bike, it's not forgotten!

I just started it two days ago, my plan of sleeping with my shrug BDF purchased bales of wool in the spring! Amazing how easily it is not knitting wool pile! Ouff! Finally, a little every day and I see the end! Hehe!

I went for a ride on Knitty yesterday, the fall issue is online and I found a sock pattern I really like ... but they are a spicy!! Classified "extraspicy" by Knitty, but they are really nice! The

Socks Celtic Triad

I was on the blog of the author of this pattern, I found the message in which she presented this project and I told him I really liked his writing style (why tell everyone here and not the main question tell me? hehe!) and I asked him a question, or rather I submitted a suggestion for an alternative version these socks: the same, but with the longer leg (below or above the knee). I would love to see the result, it seems it would be interesting! : D

Also, the model would be really nice pair, and color, with fingerless mittens Queen City !

Milena Velba Shower Pict

= Knitting Cafes

Two consecutive Sundays. Two different shops. Two-knit cafes.

Sunday, May 30 was the last coffee-knit of leapfrog for the summer and I'm a bit spoiled: I bought a ball of wool color snowy snow, with a project in mind . Were present: Andree, Christiane, Isabella, Isabelle, and Yza and me! A bit of quiet music, wool in every nook and Isabelle which took over the needle after a great while! It was fun!

This Sunday, June 6, there was a coffee-knit in Rusk & Co. and was completely improvised, since this weekend, we went up to Montreal for bike rides that my boyfriend wanted to do (the evening Friday day and Sunday). We were on the 40 towards Montreal on Friday and Stephanie, after seeing on Twitter, we went to Montreal for the weekend, offered me coffee-knit Sunday at Rusk. It was agreed that it would take me at the terminus of metro Longueuil and we would go there together. This was done. We lunched at first at Mike's, just next to Louise's shop with his uncle invited us every 2, which I found quite cute about me because I do not really know (it was the 2nd time I met him)! Anyway, it was really appreciated and I have not failed to support him!

After a delicious lunch, Stephanie and I arrived at the shop where we settled with Louise and her stepmother. We joined, Martine and 4 women including one who came with her husband and their 5 year old girl and their baby girl 5 months! Louise has been in arm much of the afternoon and one as the other looked quite comfortable: the chip was sleeping soundly and Louise smiled, radiant! Stephanie had made banana muffins and nuts and they were very good! Yum! I brought with me for the weekend (since I am no longer travel without a little knitting project), my ball of wool bought the previous weekend and my hands ... 15 mm! Yes! When the girls saw me unpacking my gear, you could see the astonishment in their eyes! To give you an idea of needles 15 mm could, if they were metal or wood used to make skin a vampire instead of a pile! I also did this picture in my head this afternoon and I imagined a movie in which a knitter became a vampire slayer! lol Anything, I know I know! So I took my ball and my piles of wool and after some effort to move from a single strand 10 strands knitters knitting, I managed to knit an owl on the same model as the previous ones, but it is obviously much bigger! It remains for me to find the right size buttons for the eyes! J'vous the show once it ends!

Backpacking Fishing Rod

Fear ...

It is strange to see how one's opinion have a situation may be changing. Changes in time, are gradually and it is not necessarily related to how we are educated, or even the views of people around us facing the same situation. I would say it's visceral, it is implanted in us, that uncertainty, that doubt, that way we have to take three steps forward five steps back. And as the idea may sound pleasant and caressing, as fears about this situation accumulate.

I would not say if this is the age that leads me to think that way, or if my fears are justified by some dark fantasies that I create in my head, but they are there, very present. There are about 10 years that I did not want children, or rather, I did not give birth. I wanted to adopt. I wanted to give chance to a child without parents to love and tenderness, but without engaging in what I thought was the worst thing ever. Pregnancy scared me terribly, but it was the birth that terrified me.

Years passed and I headed over to adulthood, the more the idea of having a child myself, I would have worn, and I was catching up, little by little, the fears that are made less large, although still present, and the idea of giving birth seemed even possible. The years go, I meet my man. A solid relationship of love binding us, we talk, we discuss, we evaluate the possibilities to see what would happen if I became pregnant. By dint of conversations we decided, in time to marry first and to consider forming a family then. I like the idea, I think even very often.

age catches up to me quietly and I fear it sometimes occurs too late in my life, but I dream. I dream about what my children will look like. I give them names already and I imagine IT LOOKS LIKE, my spouse and me, a mix of DNA and traits, as nature knows so well. I know what values will motivate the education I want to give them, and I also know that those of my man coincide with mine.

But I'm afraid. I am petrified. What scares me now more than anything, this is not the same pregnancy or childbirth (though the fears are still there), but rather the visceral fear of not being a good mother. While I am confident that the education I had, even if I trust the love that I can give them, the fear takes hold of each parcel of my being and I tremble at the thought of doing wrong. I was told recently that if I did not feel ready yet, I had to wait. And that's what I'm already doing for so long. But I'm afraid I'll never be ready. I'm afraid I'll never live up to the expectations of society towards mothers, future and present, or even my own expectations.

Adults Breastfeeding Husbands

was May 23, 2003

all started at the end of my second year of college. It was fine, but the wind was cool, even cold at times. I had a final examination session in the morning and from 14:00 to 2h00am, was held on RockFest, which as its name suggests, was a rock festival where several bands of this kind are produced for our pleasure! It was May 23, 2003.

I will not tell you that, that evening, he had lent his cloak to the friend of his sister. I will not tell you he was shivering on the bench of the picnic table near the stream. I will not tell you the efforts I made to try to warm it by rubbing his back and covering it with my blanket. I will not tell you the subtle finger play that I had done on his hand. I need not describe the happiness I felt when he put his arm around my shoulders and, in his turn, he played Game fingers with my hand. It was pitch black, although some lighting installed everywhere. I was cold and hot all at once. The world had ceased to exist. I was. Simply. When the evening had been finished, my hand in hers, I called a taxi. Then, her hand in mine, he called his mother. In the meantime, our two hands clasped in one another, we were walking on the bridge that separates the island from dream to reality. I remember. I gave him my Hotmail email address, and as we had neither pen nor paper in the taxi that carried me, I hoped heartily he would remember! I did not sleep much that night! I remember I got up very early, I went to the computer and I logged on MSN Messenger. It only lasted a few minutes. Few minutes that I was alone in the world, I was only online. Then, suddenly, a window appeared. An application to add the contact list. She had a certain Computer_Man. It would be impossible to describe in words what state of mind was when I accepted the request. The world had resumed its mad course, but this time on the road paved with thorns and brambles that I had crossed so far, a sunburst of infinite purity came to me to caress the cheek.

Later, there were lots of clouds and even thunderstorms in my life. I can never thank him enough for being that light, this warmth that I need so much in the past, which I still need so many times! I love you!

Registering A Homemede Trailer

gifts?! Pour Moi?! Y'knoow!

And yes, I received lots of gifts for 2 days!

Yesterday was my birthday gift simply happened four months after my birth date (chance would have it!): A case for laptop hard disk, a Vantec USB 2.0 to NexStar3 d a pretty color "Brilliant Red" (me, I see again and again burnt orange)!

Here is the "beast" plugged in my laptop!

Not only that, but this morning I received my order from Club Direct Laine containing wool Bergere de France I ordered! They were really effective this time around there (I could not be said for certain other companies! * Cough cough *)! I sent my order through the mail on Friday afternoon, they treated Monday in the day and I received it this morning! WOW service is really like anyway!

box therefore contained, in addition to the invoice, 7 balls Harlequin Plain color, the book and the explanation booklet with all samples of wool! Wool, all the pages! And we see the colors so much better like that (thank you not tell me that's the goal, I know that, but it's really cool as a concept!)

And I I was able to offer me through this little gift voucher Bergere de France I had won in the contest Melusine which took place in fall 2009! ( You click the link if you do not remember what I wrote for my application! )

Finally, to my pleasure (and, thanks to Melcouettes ), I discovered the site of which appeared Ysolda the most adorable little owls knitted ! I did neither one nor two, and I knitted one in the same week ... and modified slightly (I gave him embroidered wings on the advice of my friend @ CDesaulniers (incidentally, check out his blog if you like games consoles, and other news ordis technology!))! Quite happy with the result, I wanted to make a 2nd, but this time, a little larger (the first was done on 4 mm needles; realized that tonight was made of wool double on 6 mm ). It is almost finished, lacking only the eyes (even its beak is already embroidered)! Once it is finished I'll show you the final version!

So here, left, one at 4 mm, and right, double the wool over 6 mm!

How Do You Make Powerpoint A3

Knit and Crochet Blog Week - Day 6

Revisit an old project ended

Here we are on day 6 of this week Knitting and Crochet the Blogs! I'll tell you about my Lara Lamb Shawl I finished in August 2009. A beautiful project! An extensive project to achieve, especially since I had started with the tip! You know what? After 6 months of work on this shawl, I did never worn! And yes, as unlikely as it may seem, I knitted the whole time and when I had finished, I folded and put away to forget about it! And he is still in that same state more than 8 months later! I think having worked on it for so long has caused my subconscious to say "I've seen enough, I do not want to see him before long! The worst part of all this is that I do not even feel the need to wear it. Maybe it will come one day!

A rope that I'd like to put my bow is the hook. There are so many pretty things that are on the hook it's a shame that I am not yet figured out how it works. Maybe I'm not yet ready to understand?! Another thing I learn, what are the techniques used to make lace knitting. The projects I have seen done in this manner are so beautiful, it must one day as I know how to do it! Wish me luck!
